Booking Terms and Conditions

Tiger Holidays · Legal

Important

These terms govern package holiday bookings made through tigerholidays.co.uk. Please read them with the Package Travel Standard Information Form, the booking summary, any product-specific conditions, your booking confirmation and your ATOL Certificate.

1. Parties and roles

TigerHolidays.co.uk is operated by PAXIMUM UK LTD ("PAXIMUM", "we" or "us" when referring to our agency and website services). PAXIMUM UK LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 12357513.

For flight-inclusive packages identified as ATOL protected, PAXIMUM acts as an authorised agent for CARIA HOLIDAYS LTD ("Caria"). Caria is the organiser and principal contracting party for those packages and holds ATOL 11211. PAXIMUM handles the booking process, customer communications and collection of payments as Caria's authorised agent.

Where a product is offered under a different legal or protection structure, that structure will be stated clearly before payment and in the booking confirmation.

2. Making a booking

A search result, quotation or booking request is not a confirmed booking. Your package contract is formed when a booking confirmation is issued on behalf of the organiser after availability, price, payment and required checks have been completed.

You must check the confirmation immediately and tell us without delay if any traveller name, date, flight, airport, hotel, room, board, transfer or other booking detail is incorrect.

3. Lead traveller and traveller information

The lead traveller must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for providing accurate information and for communicating these terms and booking information to every traveller in the booking.

Traveller names must match the travel documents that will be used. Airlines and other suppliers may charge for corrections or may require cancellation and rebooking where a name cannot be amended.

4. Package price

The total package price displayed before payment includes all taxes, charges and unavoidable fees that can reasonably be calculated at that time. Any amount that cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, such as a locally imposed tourist tax, will be identified before booking together with how and where it is payable.

Prices remain subject to availability until the booking is confirmed. If a genuine pricing or system error is identified before confirmation, you will be offered the corrected price or a full refund of any amount taken if you do not wish to proceed.

5. Price changes after confirmation

After confirmation, the organiser may increase the package price only where permitted by the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, for specified changes in transport costs, taxes or fees imposed by third parties, or relevant exchange rates. Any increase will be notified with a calculation and justification and no increase will be made within 20 days of departure.

If an increase exceeds 8% of the total package price, you may accept the increase, accept a substitute package where offered, or terminate the contract without a termination fee and receive the refund required by law. Where the relevant costs decrease, you are entitled to the corresponding price reduction, subject to permitted actual administrative expenses.

6. Payment

The amount due at booking and any balance payment date will be displayed before payment and on the booking confirmation. Depending on the product, full payment or a deposit may be required.

Payments are collected by PAXIMUM UK LTD acting as authorised agent for CARIA HOLIDAYS LTD for applicable ATOL-protected packages. Your card statement will show a PAXIMUM descriptor. Strong Customer Authentication, payment verification and fraud-prevention checks may be used.

A card authorisation alone does not confirm a booking. If payment succeeds but the package cannot be confirmed, we will contact you with the available options and arrange the required reversal or refund if you do not proceed.

7. ATOL protection

Where your flight-inclusive package is protected by ATOL, it is protected under CARIA HOLIDAYS LTD, ATOL 11211. PAXIMUM acts as Caria's authorised agent in relation to the booking.

An ATOL Certificate will be sent to you by email immediately after the first payment is accepted. Check the certificate carefully. Only the people and services identified as protected on the certificate are protected under the ATOL scheme. Contact [email protected] immediately if you do not receive it.

8. Special requests, accessibility and health information

Tell us before booking about reduced mobility, disability, medical, dietary or other requirements that may affect the suitability or performance of the package. A request is not guaranteed unless it has been accepted by the relevant provider.

Where health or accessibility information is required to arrange assistance, we will ask for a separate explicit consent before using and sharing that information for the requested purpose.

9. Changes requested by you

Requests to change dates, flights, accommodation, rooms, board, transfers or traveller details are subject to availability and supplier conditions. You must pay any actual supplier cost, fare or tax difference and any reasonable administration charge disclosed before the change is processed.

10. Transfer of the package

Where the law permits, you may transfer the package to another person who satisfies the conditions applicable to the trip by giving reasonable notice before departure. You and the replacement traveller are jointly responsible for the outstanding balance and the actual and reasonable transfer costs.

11. Cancellation by you

You may cancel the package before departure by sending a clear written request to [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect when the request is received.

The cancellation charge applicable to the specific booking will be shown before payment and in the booking confirmation. Charges will reflect non-refundable supplier commitments and other appropriate and justifiable costs; they are not intended to operate as an arbitrary penalty.

Some components may be non-refundable from confirmation. Where this applies, the relevant component and condition will be clearly disclosed before payment and separately acknowledged at checkout.

The general 14-day online cooling-off right does not apply to package holidays and other travel services supplied for a specific date or period. This does not affect any separate statutory right to terminate a package without a fee in qualifying unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.

12. Refunds

Where a refund is due under the Package Travel Regulations, it will be paid without undue delay and within the statutory deadline. Refunds are made in pounds sterling to the original payment method unless the payment provider or law requires another method. Card issuer currency conversion charges or exchange-rate movements outside our control are not refundable by us.

13. Changes made by the organiser

Minor changes may be made where necessary. If a significant change is required to a main characteristic of the package, an accepted special requirement cannot be met, or a price increase gives you a statutory right to cancel, you will be informed without undue delay and given the options required by law.

14. Cancellation by the organiser

The organiser may terminate a package where the minimum number of participants stated before booking is not reached within the applicable notification period, or where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances prevent performance. Payments will be refunded within the period required by law.

15. Flights, schedule changes and air passenger rights

Airline schedules may change. We will notify you of significant changes communicated to us. Rights under package-travel law are separate from any rights you may have against an operating air carrier under applicable air passenger legislation.

16. Performance of the package

Caria, as organiser of the applicable package, is responsible for the proper performance of the travel services included in the package. If a service is not performed as agreed, tell the relevant supplier and contact us without undue delay so that the organiser has a reasonable opportunity to resolve the problem.

Where required by law, the organiser will remedy a lack of conformity, offer suitable alternative arrangements, and provide any applicable price reduction, compensation or termination rights.

17. Assistance during travel

If you experience a serious problem during travel, contact us at [email protected]. PAXIMUM will act as the customer contact and will coordinate assistance with Caria and the relevant suppliers. The organiser's statutory duty to provide assistance is not reduced by this operational arrangement.

18. Your conduct

Travellers must comply with applicable laws, security requirements and reasonable supplier instructions. Services may be restricted or terminated where behaviour creates danger, serious disruption, harassment, damage or a material risk to others, subject to applicable law.

19. Passport, visa and health requirements

Each traveller is responsible for holding the correct passport, visa, transit permission, health documentation and other entry requirements for the full itinerary. General information on the site is not a substitute for checking the latest official requirements for your nationality and personal circumstances.

20. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that you obtain suitable travel insurance from the time of booking. Tiger Holidays and PAXIMUM UK LTD do not provide insurance advice or arrange insurance cover through this website.

21. Liability

Caria is responsible as organiser for the proper performance of the package to the extent required by applicable package-travel law. PAXIMUM is responsible for its own acts and omissions as authorised agent to the extent required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Where international conventions or mandatory carrier rules limit compensation for a travel service, the corresponding legal limits may apply.

22. Complaints

Report problems during travel immediately to the relevant supplier and to us. After travel, send complaints to [email protected] with the booking reference and supporting information. PAXIMUM will administer the complaint and coordinate with Caria as organiser and the relevant suppliers.

23. Personal information

Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Notice. Information needed to arrange and protect a package may be shared with Caria, airlines, hotels, transfer providers, payment providers, technology providers and public authorities as appropriate.

24. Governing law

These terms and the package contract are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
